What I wore to the opening show of the Audi Fashion Festival 2012. Am WED-ing (Wearing Emerging Designers) today. The Jacket is Sifr from right here in Singapore. The cobalt blue pants are from soulland, a lovely label from New York that I scored for a song at the previous inhabit sale.

The shirt is linen from Uniqlo I added a pair of collar tips which I got at Furrmuse for 8 bucks!

Really old Zara belt that is kinda my go-to instant tummy tuck. Party of 3 what-what! Aldo, a flea find and my Miansai hook from Maison Ikkoku. LOVE that place and the bracelet, duh. But more on that later.

If you don't already know, I'll be at Audi Fashion Festival, or AFF for short, all week! Like the FB page here: http://www.facebook.com/doordiy AND follow my instagramm accont (@greggywoo) if you haven't for all the updates and photos as they happen, PLUS behind the scenes with all the biggest designers.

Sweden based photog Phillip Karlberg, 1200 wooden sticks, 6 days and 6 iconic sunglasses later comes this super innovative photo shoot for Plaza Magazine. One of the rare occasions where art and fashion collide. Brownie points for anyone who can name all the icons these were modelled after, so far I see Karl Lagerfeld, Jackie O and Johnny Depp, can't tell if the one with the bob is Anna Wintour or Lady Gaga. Either way enjoy these images, they are too much of a gem not to share!

DIY THIS: BALENCIAGA TEE

It's a little ridiculous don't you think? Asking $495 for a t-shirt? Well, Mr Porter.com But well then "it's Balenciaga!" you say  well yes, it most certainly is. Yeah I don't buy into that crap, it's a t-shirt, with panels. Get over it. OR... DIY IT! Yes! A plain old white tee, some masking tape and a dob of paint is all you really need to get the look! And now people can say you look five hundred bucks! A million takes a little more work sweetheart. Oh and if you do happen have an extra $495 hanging around you can get the original at mrporter.com

THE 'SEX' IN SEXY

Tom Ford's Spring 2012 Campaign
Come on, is that not a fitting title for a post about Tom Ford? After all, we are talking about the man who made 'slutty' a legit look in the 90s with his work at Gucci and Saint Laurent. It is then apt that his latest womenswear outing has that same deliciously vampy quality about it. Skin tight dresses, mesh cutouts, bright furs and leather stiletto boots? Check, check, check and check. And yes, I know what you're thinking: It's an episode of Fashion Police and Joan Rivers is about to turn her paddle and shout 'STREET WALKER!' And under any other circumstance, that judgement would be accurate, but not here. Tom Ford has a way of working with these fabrics and silhouettes that read sexy not vulgar. Speaking of vulgarity, does anyone else think this collection is what Kanye intended his Fall 2012 show to look like? But of course he failed, quite obviously too. That man should not be in fashion. Moving on, the video below is of the Tom Ford's Fall 2012 collection. And yes, Gwyneth Paltrow's gorgeous white caped number is in there and so is Jennifer Lawrence's zippered LBD. Didn't think you could keep a celebrity from this collection for long now did ya?

TRENDING: TREND DIABETES

Marie Claire China, February 2012
Pastels are in! Wait weren't they also 'in' last season... and the season before that and the one before that? Clearly I'm the only one who thinks this infatuation with powder/baby/candy floss-everything is getting really icky because just about every designer is STILL doing it. And no, the bugis street stalls pedaling their little pastel crop tops aren't helping. Oh god, those are the worse. I also blame them for single-handedly bringing that gross feeling you get after overdoing it at the dessert counter (I would know) into the fashion industry. If you must, this colour trend looks the best when applied to clean structural shapes that veer furthest from the fairy princess ideal. Think Phillip Lim and Acne, those I love.

Don't even touch that sheer baby blue chiffon maxi, not on my watch.

SNEAK PEEK: MARNI FOR H&M

Psst, here's a little look at what's to come from the eagerly awaited Marni For H&M collection to be launched on the 8th of March, leaked in VOGUE Russia. And you definitely saw it here first. If you don't think you did, forgot the place the other place you saw this.

Right now, I'm loving all the geometric print everythings and the bold graphic lucite jewelry that is so very Marni. Now all we need are some photos from the mens line, am I right guys!

The rest of the leak, after the jump.
